HOW IT WORKS

FUNDING THE PARTNERSHIP

1.

BUNSW Benevolent Ministries and GWFC Chaplaincy have partnered to provide tax deductible giving arrangements to support local chaplains, employed by local churches, engaging their local communities to see city transformation.

2.

GWFC Chaplaincy will setup the tax deductible giving arrangement on fundachaplain.org upon commencement of new chaplaincy arrangements. The funding is allocated specifically to the community (e.g. school or childcare centre) so that the donor can decide where to allocate their funds.

Note that where funds are unable to used for the allocated purpose, they may be reallocated with specific approval from GWFC Chaplaincy but will always remain used for the purpose of chaplaincy.

3.

The partner churches or organisations employing the chaplains can apply to access the donated funds for use in the specified community. Click on the ‘Register As Recipient’ link in the navigation menu to register.

GWFC Chaplaincy will provide the password to access these links, contact chaplaincy@gwfc.com.au if you need help.

4.

Once registered, available funds balances for the relevant community allocations will be emailed monthly to the partner organisation.

5.

When the funds are required by the partner organisation to help pay for chaplaincy in the allocated community, they can apply to have the funds released by completing the form on the ‘Funds Request’ page of this website.

Fund requests will be considered and the partner organisation will be contacted if there are any issues. It may take a few weeks for the funds transfer to occur.
